We have a TWO year old and I just cannot believe it. Rory Liam is the goofiest, sweetest little tank of a boy and he brings us so much joy. We are huge fans of all things Bluey in this household, and it only made sense to do a Bluey themed birthday party for our sweet Roro. Up until legit the week of… I was planning on a Bluey themed family birthday party at The Little Gym and sadly we were double booked and I had to switch gears to our home. I decided to do a full send party last minute and bought decorations, Costco frozen foods kids love, and threw every toy we have outside to keep the kids outdoors and happy.
I have found over the years with parties that kids just want to play at a birthday and there’s not a lot of entertaining needed, so we put up our bounce house and all the bikes and outdoor toys we have, and said “have fun” to the 15 little kids that came over to celebrate. A fun little pop up Heeler Home tent and easy decorations added the perfect pop of orange and blue we needed. We played the Bluey soundtrack over our speakers and the kids seriously had a blast. Honestly, this was arguably my favorite birthday party to date and it was the simplest I have done.
For food, I did corn dogs and chicken nuggets from Costco, a box of variety baked chips, popcorn, and juice… and we called it a day! The kids loved it. Paul also came home the morning of the party with an ax throwing game from Target for the parents to play and we gave away a Pendleton blanket to the winner. It was honestly the perfect little addition to the party for the adults. We played the Bluey soundtrack in the background, and the kids danced and played for two hours!
I hope this helps you with your own little’s birthday party! All items linked below were included at the party!
Cupcakes and Oatmeal Cream Pies: Ditty, A Gluten Free Bakery! You guys, I am not just saying this because she’s a friend. These gf cupcakes and oatmeal cream pies tasted like everything I lost from my childhood when I had to change my diet due to an allergy of yeast and gluten haha. These oatmeal cream pies literally taste like Little Debbie (but better!)
