I love spring.
Being able to throw on a dress with a pair of sandals is my go-to for as many days of the year I can possibly pull off. This dress is now one of those for me. They took the shirt dress to a new level with this one. I love it for its ruffles and flowy skirt, and the sophisticated tom-boy look to it with the collared button up.
I paired it with my new favorite pair of wedges to ever grace my closet. They are lace up meets espadrille, and I am at least 5′ 6 in them. 😉 Best news is that they are AMAZINGLY comfortable. I am not pulling your leg. I wore them for Student Led Sunday at church, which meant leading worship went up about 10 notches on the jumping around level (like, we had a rapper), and I didn’t even think twice about bouncing around in them. They started to hurt by hour 7… naturally. But, the first 5 or 6 hours in them-on my feet the whole time- I didn’t even notice I was in this tall of wedges.
BEST. WEDGES. EVER. Y’ALL.
Also, can we talk about how Lindsay Davenport made it look like I am frolicking through a magical meadow in these photos… but I was actually in the middle of construction on the grassy park area at Watters Creek? TALENT y’all.
Perhaps you’re thinking, “Wait, Lindsay? Where is Hannah from Cottonwood Road Photography?”
Well, glad you asked! SHE IS A BRAND NEW MOMMY AND KILLING IT. She had baby Hudson in late March and they are both doing uh-ma-zing. Go show @cottonwoodroadphotography some love and see their amazing photos of baby Hudson. I am so so proud of her, and she is already an amazing mom.
Love doing life with y’all, sweet friends! Have a happy day and go spread kindness like buttercream frosting.
