Last week Hannah (Cottonwood Road Photography) and I got to sneak into a Pure Barre sesh with some of the teachers at Pure Barre Allen. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like inside a PB studio- well, now you get an exclusive peek! They also have some fab new retail including these new Alo Yoga Goddess Leggings, which are the BOMB. (These babies suck. you. in.) Alo continues to be my absolute favorite workout gear, because it is unique, fashion forward, and stays put. (Remember this Alo look from last week?) Plus- how fun are these bright colors for the freshly arrived spring?!
As reminder, a Pure Barre class is 55 minutes long and broken up into four parts. A warm-up with core and weight work, thighs, “seat”, and abs. I have had experience now at three different studios now (Coppell, McKinney + Allen), and what I love most about my experience in all three is the hands on correction I receive. Pure Barre teachers are trained to always keep you in proper form and they challenge you when they see you can do more. (Molly will definitely come around and push your heels up higher for a better burn!) Form is everything, and no matter which Pure Barre you live by, your teachers are going to make certain you can’t and won’t hurt yourself during a class.
I sure hope if you are in the Allen/McKineny area you’ll come to a class with me this week!(Especially my #CSFPartyGirls!)
xoxo- Han
