I am very particular about what I splurge on, because A. I have to be and B. I was raised that way. A few things worth spending more money on are jeans, skin care, and shoes. Jeans because good ones last a lot longer and look a lot better. Skin, because you don’t get a second shot at that. And shoes, because feet are important. Don’t get me wrong tops, purses, accessories… all worth the splurge sometimes. Treat yo self. But on the reg, these are the terms I live by. Today, I am sharing with you the products I have been using that are currently sitting on my bathroom counter and am loving. Believe me, I try out plenty of products not worth sharing, and I would actually be doing a disservice if I suggested them to you. The items today are SO WORTH IT. If you have questions or would like to see tutorials, let me know!

Skincare
Tula Volume Defense Serum: Start taking care of wrinkles now… I don’t care how old or young you are. I am 24, and I use an anti-wrinkle cream and am proud of it. This serum SERIOUSLY made a massive change in my complexion almost over night. $$$$ (WORTH.IT.)
Urban Defense Hydrating Spray: I was skeptical, but I love it. I spray it on my face every morning, and it defends my skin from toxins and irritants. $$
Hydrating Day & Night Cream: I have been using this for about 4 months now, and I love it. If I could put it on my whole body, I would. I put this on in the morning and before bed. $$$
Face Wash: I like this because of what it does for my complexion’s overall appearance and vibrance, but suggest also an acne cleanser with it for a deep clean. $$
Hair
Redken Shampoo & Conditioner: This is what my friend and hairstylist, Kristy, tells me to use. It really has helped rejuvenate my hair and bring back some life since progressively going to my very light ash blonde. (It has been extremely harsh on my fine hair.) $$$
OGX Vitamin b5 Weightless Oil Mist: This stuff is NOT a splurge, it’s less than $10, and it smells like heaven. I spray this specifically on my ends for moisture. $
Big Sexy Hair Spray: I have given my fair share of hair sprays a shot growing up a dancer. I have tried everything- this stuff takes the gold. The Spray and Play is the perfect hold without feeling like a helmet. $$
Sultra Curling Rod: This curling rod is the best one I have ever used, and is the best method to get my beachy everyday waves. I curl with the 1.5″ rod, brush out my tips, and spray the top. Done. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get ready with this thing. $$$
Make-Up
Complexion Rescue Hydrating Gel Cream: This is simply the best. This, paired with my Tula Skin Care, I believe is why my skin is the best it’s ever been. There’s a new glow to it. $$
BareSkin Concealer: I don’t do the whole full on contour thing, because frankly I couldn’t care less to spend that much time on my makeup. But, I do use a very light concealer around my eyes, above my brow, and on my jaw line to create a faux contour. $$
Stroke Of Light Eye Brightener: I just like how this looks! I put a dab in the corners of my eyes below the bottom lashes and spread it out. $$
Lash Domination: Nothing like it. I have tried a couple drug store mascaras the last month, and HATE them. I will be going back to my BareMinerals. Why fix it if it a’int broke? $$
Application Brush: This is not the exact brush I use, but it is the exact same shape and tool. This is for your bronzer to create that contour-esque look. $$
Bronzer ‘A Little Sun’: This stuff gets me the most comments. People ask me all the time which bronzer I use, and this is it. You can use a larger brush for an all over application, but I use it in place of blush. (I hate blush.) I think stage make up for 15 years ruined it for me. $$
I also love the Redkin shampoo and conditioner! I stock up on it when Beauty Brands has their liter sale and buy enough for a whole year! haha
