Happy Friday, friendsies, and CAN YOU BELIEVE IT IS ALMOST NOVEMBER?!
Y’all November is going to be my biggest month of the year, and I literally cannot handle the excitement. (See photo above for a sneaky peeky!) The Cake Shop is launching on my new website, I have a couple BIG events/contributor spots (mark November 12th!), and I am hosting Thanksgiving for my family and Paul’s.. haha. That’s a big deal and I felt it necessary to include in my list of big things happening this month. With Thanksgiving on the horizon, taste testing recipes leading up to the 24th, and then the Christmas season to follow… now more than EVER I have got to be getting my bootie to the barre. (And I DON’T mean bar.) 😉 I heard it said a couple weeks ago that the weight you are right now is likely the lightest you’ll be for the next three months… I laughed out loud because that’s both horrifying and TRUE. On average, most people will gain 8 lbs over the next few months into the new year. Pardon me, but not this girl. I refuse. 8 lbs is significant, but every year we do it! The cookies, the drinks, the pie… but with Pure Barre on your side, you can enjoy all the goodies of the holidays AND stay the same weight. It used to be true that if I ate even one cookie, I could easily bloat up and gain a pound. Two cookies, and I was definitely going to be heavier the next day. Now, absolutely because of Pure Barre, this just isn’t the case anymore. I have to watch what I eat obviously, but Pure Barre lifts, tones, and burns in all the right places. Did you know you can easily burn about 600 calories in a Pure Barre class? (EASY!) That’s my freedom right there to eat a sweet treat here and there throughout the week… and as I taste test my Thanksgiving recipes. 😉 I have literally eaten an entire apple pie this week with some help, but let’s be real, I know it was mostly my doing. So what are you SERIOUSLY waiting on? Why haven’t you tried out a Pure Barre class yet? Don’t let this holiday season be another one that ends come January 1st and is accompanied with self loathing. (Anybody else immediately think of The Grinch with Jim Carrey when you hear “self loathing”… just me?) You can ALWAYS join me at Pure Barre Allen or Mckinney if you’re in the area! As I always say, having cute workout wear is definitely a must. There’s just something about having cute clothes to wear to the gym that gives you that extra little nudge to get there.
